Overview

We offer a self contained five bedroom apartment in our house which is located in the town of Mazamet which borders the Montagne Noire in the Tarn.

Mazamet in the Midi-Pyrenees - arguably one of the most beautiful regions of France, offering spectacular scenery, fabulous food and a wealth of outdoor pursuits for the active and a laid back lifestyle for those who simply wish to relax.

The house and apartment have all the beautiful original features from when the house was built for a local merchant c.1925.

All the rooms have high ceilings, with cornicing, double doors, herring bone hardwood flooring, and detailed features throughout. Almost every room in the house has a beautifully crafted marble fireplace.

In the summer, whilst outside temperatures can reach 40ºC, the house remains cool and pleasant. In the winter, the house is always beautifully warm thanks to a very effective central heating system.

The apartment is located on the second floor and consists of large hall, a living room, kitchen, shower room and toilet, four large bedrooms, plus an additional child's bedroom (sleeps a child up to 8 plus a baby).

Guests can also utilise the garden, including BBQ area and swimming pool.
