Josie and Dave welcome you to their chambre d'hotes situated in the heart of the Poitou Charentes region.We have 3 large en-suite bedrooms(2 double and 1 twin).Each bedroom has natural stone walls, oak beams and is fully carpeted with wardrobe/drawers and wall mirror.Each bathroom has a shower,wc and basin with mirror,lights and shaving point,also there is a heated towel rail.There is a guest lounge with TV/Sat.DVD and Video,there are videos,books and games for all ages.The dining table seats 7+ people. We can provide a babies cot and high chair if needed.Outside there are large gardens with fruit trees, there is a large above ground swimming pool(9m x 5m) sun lounges, tables and chairs, there is also an outside eating area.

We are situated in the southern part of the Deux Sevres department, we are on the borders of the Charente and Vienne departments, with its gentle climate and varied countryside it is the gateway to exploring this beautiful and charming region of France, where it is reputed to have the most sunshine hours away from the Mediterranean coast. La Scie is part of the commune of Limalonges, the area is mainly crop farming, growing wheat, maize and sunflowers. We are just off the RN10 (1 minute) on the D948 in the direction of Civray/Limoges. The nearest towns and cities are Sauze Vaussais(5km),Civray(10km),Ruffec(15km), Angouleme and Poitiers(45kms) and Niort(55km)
