Belle Vue on the edge of the picturesque village of Puyravault is a superb location for holidaymakers. Situated just 15 miles from the magnificent old port of La Rochelle and the Ile de Re, on Frances south west coast,and just 12 miles from south Vend es golden beaches. This is the heart of the national park Marais Poitevin, yet is only 7 miles from the beautiful cathedral town of Luon and close to the region known as the Venise Verte, (Green Venice). Our micro-climate, in this one of the sunniest parts of France, makes off season holidays most attractive.

The beautifully restored 18th century stone cottages are arranged around a courtyard with our own house.
The four g�tes (cottages) are fully independent, tastefully furnished, fitted to a high standard.They provide modern comforts but have been carefully renovated to retain their original character.

La GrandeEpoque sleeps up to six : there is one double bedroom with en-suite washroom and one bedroom with twin beds downstairs, and one double bedroom upstairs. The large living room has a dining area, sofa, stone fireplace with woodburning stove and open plan staircase leading to the mezzanine which has satelite TV, DVD player, CD player and seating. There is also an upstairs double bedroom.

The kitchen has large range of fitted units, washing machine, gas cooker, double sink, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, toaster and electric kettle.

The cottage has tiled floors, exposed beams, luxury shower room and many exposed stone walls.

The 12 x 5 m heated pool and tiled sun terace are fully enclosed for your security. There are attractive flower beds on three sides of the terrace. The pool is floodlit by night with exterior lighting so you can swim or just relax beside the water all day and evening. The pool building offers shade to those who prefer not to spend too much time in the sun, and a fridge so you can keep your drinks nice and cool... The Belle Vue properties are set in a quater of an acre of garden. Apart from the swimming pool, jacuzzi and sun terrace there is a large lawn containing a selection of fruit trees such as apricot, pear, apple, cherry, plum and fig. There is also table tennis and badmington for your use. There is a secluded eating area with stone barbecue for cooking 'al fresco' and also plenty of garden furniture.
