Overview
All our bed and breakfast rooms are en-suite with shower, washbasin, toilet and benefit from double-glazing, central heating.They are all quiet & enjoy nice views over the surrounding area.
Our converted loft offers 3 rooms with character, exposed beams and wooden floors (1 double room and 2 family rooms) and there are also 2 double rooms on the first floor.
Our comfortable lounge has a fireplace, a balcony overlooking the square, a television and a library (English and French books may be borrowed).
Our separate breakfast room is spacious and friendly (breakfast is available between 08.00 and 09.30).
Within walking distance you can find pleasure boat excursions along the Vilaine, canoeing, sailing, 3 quality bakeries, bars with pool table, a bee-keeping museum, an indoor swimming pool (outdoor in summer), a cinema, several banks, a large market every Thursday morning, an Arts & Crafts workshop as well as a variety of music festivals, exhibitions and other attractions during summer and spring.
In the surrounding areas, you will find horseriding schools, golf courses, lots of walks for ramblers, castles, fortified towns, seafood tasting...
Our lovely beaches (15 minutes by car for the closest) range from secluded coves to large resorts like La Baule and Le Croisic.
La Roche Bernard is a superb place to visit if you like to dine out: it has a large number of restaurants offering local produce from both land and sea. For a truly gastronomic experience or a special occasion, why not try dining at L'Auberge Bretonne run by Michelin-starred chef Jacques Thorel.
A visit to the Rock site is an absolute must. Here you will enjoy an unequalled panoramic view of the Vilaine and the Roche Bernard bridges. The Ruicard walk has a nice view of the old harbour. The Roche Bernard marina ("Port neuf") is a meeting place for ocean and river navigation. It has more than 400 moorings. The sailing school is a good place to enjoy water sports.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
