Overview

La Grande Maison is a detached country house, situated in 1 hectare of grounds, with panoramic views of the surrounding Central Brittany countryside. We are near Carhaix, Mael Carhaix, Callac and Rostrenen.The Nantes-Brest canal is nearby and opposite the house is the old railway path (voie vert) which is now used for walking and cycling(Carhaix to St-Meen-le-Grand)The coasts (north, south and west)are about 1 hour away as are the towns of Quimper, Brest, Lorient.Guests are welcome to sit and relax in the garden. Our land is used to grow fruit (for PYO and local markets) and vegetables.Evening meals are available by prior arrangement and are prepared using our own produce as far as possible.
We are open all year and accept pets, with prior notice.
