Overview

We are only an hour's drive from the Ancient Town of La Roche sur-yon and the beautiful, popular coastal towns of La Rochelle and Les Sables d'Olonne. Within easy reach of Les Saules Enchantes is the FOREST OF MERVENT enclosing the now famous ADVENTURE PARK. The forest is a very popular picnic area for the local people with the additional attraction of the PARC DE PEIRRE BRUNE. Enclosed within the Forest is the pretty town of Vouvant, famous for their own 'fairy' story.



Also – other benefits of our location are as follows:-

· We are situated halfway between St Marsault and St Pierre du Chemin.

· Just over one hour from Nantes, Poitiers and La Rochelle Airports AND only 3 hours drive from St Malo Ferry-port.

· Also within easy reach of many famous seaside resorts along the West Coast of France .

PUY DU FOU is also close by and offers a chance for a medieval day out for you and your family. This includes falconry displays, son et lumiere, jousting tournaments and lots, lots more.
Close by (one could say 'around the corner') is PESCALIS, a major fishing resort offering entertainment for young and old alike. Pescalis has large lakes on which one can hire a boat ride and a cinema showing the story of ‘The Golden Carp’. Experience lovely family day’s outing here and take your own picnic for extra enjoyment.



Our farmhouse consists of 5 generous sized bedrooms. The 1st floor bedrooms consist of a large family, en-suite room containing a double and single bed, a large family bedroom containing a double and single bed plus cot, a double bedroom and a further family room containing three single beds. Also on this floor is the lovely, large fitted family bedroom. On the ground floor, there is a very large sitting/dining room, a separate French kitchen and the benefit of a double en-suite room for the guests who find problems with stairs.
