Overview
The Village House bed & breakfast accommodation in Herault, Languedoc Roussillon is nestled in the historic heart of Gabian. This picturesque and rustic village surrounded by vineyards and the open countryside of the garrigue sits at the foothills of the high Languedoc Natural park between mountains and Mediterranean. With its natural spring water fountains this picturesque and lively working village with grocery, post office, baker, newsagent, bar/cafe and pharmacy makes an ideal base for enjoying the surrounding varied landscapes.
John and Jean-Maurice are your Anglo-French hosts at The Village House. We offer two comfortably furnished double bedrooms with modern en-suite facilities and heating. Breakfast is served either on the guests terrace or in the guests reception room where tea and coffee making facilities are also provided.
The classically styled master bedroom is at the front of the house with private landing and master bathroom. The room's balcony overlooks the historic fountain in Place Vieille.
The sencond bedroom is a contemporary style double room with ensuite shower room and is at the rear of the house and looks out to the sunny garden terrace.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
