Overview

Situated in the beautiful Dordogne region of France, Eymet is one of the best preserved bastide towns only 23 kilometers from Bergerac airport (from where we can even pick you up) and only 1hr 45mins from Bordeaux (with airport & TGV trains)We are right at the heart of the town in a quaint street 2 minutes walk from the main square. We have 3 comfortable rooms each with their own shower rooms with shower, toilet and wash basin. There are coffee and tea making facilities on the landing and videos in the rooms. Hairdriers, iron and ironing board available on request anything else you need please ask we will try to help you. We endeavor to make your stay with us a home from home, where you can feel relaxed and at ease to come and go as you please. Open all year round. If you are looking for property we are in an ideal location with three excellent Estate agents (Immobilier) 3mins walk away from us. Car Hire can also be arranged for you.

Location & area

In the centre of a delightful Bastide town built in the thirteenth century we are situated within two minutes walking distance of the beautiful arcaded square which has a number of friendly bars & resturants.

Canoes available to hire just of the square on the river Dropt, for you to explore the countryside via the river. Also cycle hire available in the square. Golf courses and fishing available nearby along with horse riding. At nearby Pomport a lake with a beach for bathing and other activities. There are several vineyards to tour and taste the fine local wines.
In the surrounding areas visit the other bastide towns and other sites of historical interest, or visit the prehistoric caves, medieval castles, chateaux etc.

All rooms have videos and overhead fans. Tea and coffee making facilities. small courtyard. There is iron, ironing board and hairdrier available for guests use. Shampoo/body wash in the showers and fresh towels daily. Two of the rooms have a double and single bed in them and the other has a double. Prices are based on two people sharing a room i.e 50 euros, for an extra person in the room i.e child (2yrs-14yrs) 15 euros extra. Adult 20 euros extra. Single person in room is 45 euros. These prices incude continental breakfast, English breakfast by arrangement, at an extra cost of 5 euros. Return trip to airport if required.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud

It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:

  • It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
