La Roseraie.
“The Rose Garden” enjoys wonderful views across the park and on into the beautiful French countryside.
The cottage is close to the play area and swimming pool (which is fully enclosed) and it is ideal for families with younger children as the private courtyard is totally secure.

The spacious, detached, two storey cottage is newly converted and has three bedrooms sleeping 6 people comfortably. It is also possible to sleep up to two further people by means of the sofa beds in the sitting room. The cottage
enjoys its own private patio/courtyard which is equipped with a barbeque and garden furniture, offering a delightful setting for relaxing outdoor meals on warm summer evenings. The cottage is centrally heated and located adjacent to the owner occupied main house. Ample private parking.

La Roseraie lies in its own 25 acre park, 7 miles East of the famous town of Chateaubriant in the Loire Atlantique region (44) of France. It is equidistant between the cities of Rennes, Angers and Nantes making it easily accessible from the UK. Ireland and the Channel Isles.

Amenities & services

La Roulais has its own private heated swimming pool, 12m by 6m, which is heated to a temperature of 28 degrees. The saltwater pool is naturally healthy and has no added chemicals. It has its own terrace and garden area with plenty of sun beds and it is fully enclosed for safety.

The children's play area is a large grassed area adjacent to the pool, so parents can easily keep an eye on the children. It is equipped with a quadruple swing complex, a see-saw, a slide, a sandpit and various ‘bikes and trikes'

A selection of bikes for all ages are available to hire. A baby seat is also
available for our younger guests, free of charge.

Table tennis, badminton and volleyball are also provided.

A video/dvd and book library is also open to guests free of charge.



It is possible to stay in our Chambre d'Hôtes before and /or after your stay in the cottage, if you prefer not to travel on a weekend.



Rental commences at 4pm on the day of arrival and finishes at 10am on the day of departure.



All bedding, bed linen and kitchen towels are provided at no extra charge. A set of clean bedding is provided each week. There is NO provision for personal towels for bathroom or swimming pool use.



Prices include water, gas and normal electricity expenses.
