Overview

We are situated on the outskirts of the fairly large market town of Chateaubriant. There are numerous bike trails and walking routes in and around our ancient town. Also tennis courts, horse riding, swing golf and crazy golf, bowling, theatre and a cinema naming but a few activities in the area. The chateau is located in the old part of town which is visited by people from all around the world. There are many small restaurants close by with reasonably prices lunch menus starting from 9.50 euros. Or chill out on the terrace with a glass of wine, beer or fruit juice.

Location & area

We are between Rennes and Nantes. If you leave the ring road around Rennes and head for Nantes on the E03 N137 and exit the motorway at Nozay onto the N171 into Chateaubriant and head for the Municipal Camping site in Rue de Tugny, you will drive over 2 large speed bumps and pass the Camping Municipal camp site on your left then a few meters further on you will see a narrow bridge. Do not go over the narrow bridge. Just before you reach the bridge there is a turning to the right into a field. Don't worry we are the second house along the lane with the huge hedge around it hence the name. Hedge View House.
