Overview

This impressive property, which is the residence of the owner for most of the year and as such has an unusually high level of comfort, has been painstakingly restored and has superb views of rolling countryside with the town of Caylus nestling in the valley below. The décor throughout is of exciting colours with delightful furnishings and paintings.



With a superb pool, it is an ideal property for your holiday home.




The pool is 'kidney-shaped', 30 sq m with a depth of 1.2m and surrounded by both a wooden decking and terracing area for relaxing and sunbathing. There are lots of pool toys and for the very young there is a paddling pool.



The surrounding countryside provides lots of opportunities for interesting walks and nature lovers will be amazed at the varieties of birds, flowers, wildlife and butterflies.



There is an abundance of interesting local medieval villages and a number of activities for the more energetic.




On the ground floor is a delightful kitchen (24 sq m) with a full 'picture window' which is both bright and attractively decorated. It is fully equipped, enabling you to make the most of your purchases from the local markets. It includes a fridge freezer, microwave and oven and is furnished with a breakfast table and chairs.

A separate utility room contains a washing machine and an extra fridge. There is a separate downstairs toilet.


The dining room (26 sq m) leads directly from the kitchen and is delightfully furnished. It is bright and, like the rest of the house, very attractively decorated.




From here you carry on through to the lounge (23 sq m), which has lots of soft furnishings and is ideal for relaxing out of the sunshine with a good book or to catch some French television. We suggest you bring any favourite videos for the youngsters in your party.



Bedroom 1 is on the ground floor with French doors leading onto the terrace (32 sq m) with full en suite bathroom. The remaining bedrooms are on the first floor, all with ample storage.

Bedroom 2 is the master double bedroom. It has full en suite bathroom, which includes a sunken bath tub (for two people).

Bedroom 3 is a large twin bedded room.
Bedroom 4 is a good sized double bedded room with a staircase up to bedroom 5, which has twin beds and is up in the 'eaves' of the house and would comfortably suit a couple of youngsters.

There is also a separate bathroom and toilet on the first floor.

Location & area

Located 2km from Caylus, a medieval town which has barely been touched by the passage of time. Market days are Tuesday and Saturday, where you can buy wonderful locally grown fruits, vegetables, cheeses and wine. During the peak season Caylus also holds several evening 'Medieval' markets. The market at St Antonin (10km) on Sundays shouldn't be missed. Corde sur cile is 30 minutes and Albi 45 mins.
