Overview

A short walk from the city centre, nestled in the heart of a tranquil area, the Blue Lodge and its hosts offer you lodgings full of character and a family atmosphere.
Far from the standard hotels, this private house on the outskirts of Bordeaux city centre, served by regular bus and tram lines, allows you to leave down your suitcases, park your car and go and make the most of the Bordeaux region and its charms. Built at the end of the nineteenth century, this "vieille dame" has retained the style and architecture typical of Bordeaux. Between the street and the small flower and herb garden where the smokers like to sit out, you can enjoy the cool rooms in the midsts of the summer heat under the shelter of the stone walls.
Bed and Breakfast :
- Two independant guest rooms by the entrance to the house - from 2 to 4 people
- The Blue Lodge for up to 10 people - available at certain times of the year (notably VINEXPO: contact us)
5 minutes walk : the Tramway line will bring you to historical city centre and its UNESCO patrimony. Would you prefer to discover the vineyards ? 10 minutes drive and the most prestigious "Pessac-Leognan" vineyards are at hand - Pique Caillou, Haut Brion, Pape Clement... Coming for business ? VINEXPO is at the end of the boulevards ( direct access from home )also is Cite Mondiale du Vin and business centers. Or maybe would you enjoy a peculiar day bathed with sunshine... the sea coast is 45 minutes far : kilometers of fine sand beaches are awaiting you... You have the choice : either near a touristic station such as Lacanau Ocean or Arcachon, or discover a clear and deserted beach at the very end of the forest.. ( ...)

We, as a french familly, will be happy to help you discover the french way of life. Maybe will you just enjoy to relax and have a glass in our small garden... Our goal is to make your stay an unforgettable experience of France. We speak either French or English depending on your linguitic goals...
Your angel kids are very welcome : an extra bed for baby is available on demand as are services for lunch/dinner and laundry.
