Overview

Les Magnolias is one of 2 adjoining gites nestling amongst the Bordeaux vineyards.They are set in 3 acres of gardens, which include a fenced pool, lawns, and a play area. Each gite has a patio area. The kitchens are fully equipped for all your needs and the owners live on site.

The gites are ideal for young children and equipment is available for babies. They may be booked together or seperately.

The property is a 20 minute walk from the village that has a butcher, baker, grocer and café.

We can organise a tutored wine tasting for your party, catering for both the novice and the better informed.

The area has a wealth of wildlife and is fantastic for walking, birdwatching and cycling.

The property is a 20 minute walk from the village that has a butcher, baker, grocer and café. The historic citadel town of Blaye is 10 miles away, with a supermarket, variety of restaurants and daily ferry service to the Médoc. There is a lake for swimming a short drive away with a sandy beach and restaurant, and the Atlantic beaches are less than an hour's drive.



The city of Bordeaux is 40 minutes away, and it is 45 minutes to St. Emilion. Arcachon, Saintes, Royan, Cognac and Angouleme can be reached in an hour.

Ground floor dining room, kitchen, living room, 1 double bedroom, 2 shower rooms with WC. First floor 1 double bedroom, 2 twin bedrooms. The two gites face south across the grounds and swimming pool. There are many mature trees to provide ample shade during the hotter days. There is a herb garden and organic home grown fruit and vegetables are available to purchase. The kitchens are fully equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Linen and towels are provided (please supply your own swimming towels) and all water and electricity is included for summer lets. Each gite has its own patio area with table and chairs, parasol and barbecue. The owners can provide a full range of baby equipment including cots, highchairs, baths, changing units, stairgates, buggy and toys. There is a comprehensive selection of games and books in each gite, and a TV and videos are also available in Les Magnolias.

  • It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
