Overview

This is a stunning bed and breakfast and suited to all travellers. Papilio ("masion volets bleu") its second local name! due to the many blue shutters! features in many books with fantastic reports..They have a high rating with Gites de france and very popular though out the whole year.



All beds have top quality orthopedic mattresses and guest will sleep soundly...Guaranteed!! for this and many other reasons we have many returning guests.



We have a large grassy garden with BBQ,(for your use) a heated pool (5.5 m) with unbeatable views of the snow capped mountains..and large trampoline. There is also a quiet tucked away apperative area to relax in while watching the mountains. This area is surrounded by honeysuckle and roses..



the terrace is stunning.. and again a wonderful place to sit and reflect on the day or to plan tomorrow.



Papilio bed and breakfast / chambre d'hote is set in a village, yet Luchon is only 20 mins walk away.(1.5kms) All bedrooms face south and have stunning mountain views. They all have a desk with chairs and all have private bathrooms.



Full sized bath, power shower, wash basin and toilet.



Breakfast is included: fresh bread, croissants, pain au chocolate, orange juice, hot chocolate, tea, coffee, many local jams, yogurts and cereal. The fruit bowl is always filled and there for you during the day!



In winter you have on open fire with a large sitting room, TV (free view) and DVD player with many dvds for you.



We are able to give you much advice on all activities when calling.. so please do ask, as the owner is a mountain guide. We have many books and maps and contacts which will help you plan your holiday.

Location & area

Papilio accommodation is 1.5km outside bagners-de-luchon,
a beautiful walk from the town or a very short drive. Very quite and peaceful with benefits of the stunning mountain views.
Once in Luchon you turn for Montauban-de-luchon. Head towards village Juzet. We are there.. the house with many blue shutters.
