Overview
Le Raspaioun is a magnificent 17th century town house in the Provencal village of Aups. The house has three studio rooms, each with private bath / shower, all overlooking the village. At this authentic Provencal 'maison du village' we offer a truly French holiday experience.
Within 10 mins drive of the Gorges du Verdon, Lac St Croix and numerous local vineyards Aups is a wonderful location from which to explore the region of Provence.
Aix en Provence is easily reached by car and the famous cities of Avignon, Nimes and Montpellier are all within dirving distance.
The French Riviera, Cannes, St Tropez and Nice are only an hours drive away. Spoil yourself and visit Monte Carlo in just under 2 hours.
In the village of Aups you will find a host of restaurants, bars and cafes. At the twice weekly Provencal market you will find all the flavours and smells of Provence - cheese, pate, olive oil, Provencal linens and pottery are all available.
The village also boasts an open air pool, tennis courts and a newly built gymnasium.
Close by you will find the villages of Tourtour, Cotignac, Villecroze and Barjols, each with their own charm and all with a host of activities throughout the Spring and Summer months.
Aups is the perfect place from which to enjoy all that Provence has to offer.

- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
