Overview

The property is an old farmhouse, recently renovated, covering 150 m sq. on two floors and offers accommodation for six people in total comfort and comprises :-

Ground floor
Entrance hall, lounge, kitchen/diner, and in a self contained suite a double bedroom and bathroom including a Jacuzzi and separate shower. There is also a separate W. C. including a wash hand basin.
The kitchen includes:-
Oven, hob and fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, microwave, iron & ironing board
Dining area : refectory table seating six comfortably
The kitchen and lounge feature traditional fireplaces with log burning stoves.

Upstairs
Two double bedrooms - one with a double bed and 4ft. futon, the other with twin beds. The bathroom comprises bath, W. C. and wash -basin. There are also hair dryers for your use. There is also a large landing with a 5ft futon which could accommodate two extra people.

Outside
Lawn / Gardens – ample space for outside eating. Swimming Pool (10 x 5m)
BBQ

General
All linen is included but you do need to provide your own swimming towels.(linen changed weekly)
A cot and highchair is available if required.
All of the rooms have exposed beams. Feel free to sit in the garden and eat outside if you wish.
English television programmes are available on the lounge T.V.
At the risk of stating the obvious this is self-catering accommodation. We regret that we cannot accept pets and also that there is a no smoking policy within the property.

Fraisse is a small hamlet of four houses just ½ mile from the village of Chassaignes which itself is 8 kms west of Riberac

The owners are readily available if you have any difficulties.

Location & area

We are located roughly mid way between the two market towns of Riberac in the Dordogne and Chalais in the Charente. Using for example Michelin map no.75 and starting from Chalais the road linking the two is the D2 as far as Aubeterre and then becomes the D20 to Riberac. Fraisse is not featured on maps of this scale but Chassaignes is and this is just south of Bourg-du-Bost.
