Overview

Traditionally built with Kelo Logs our cabins are warm and cosy with log fires and all mod cons including private sauna. Nestled in quiet woodland they offer peace and tranquility with reindeers and arctic hares for company yet are just a short walk to all amenities the village has to offer. There are a few excellent,friendly bars and places to eat and a well stocked supermarket.Yllas fell just 3KM away is the highest in Finland and available for ski ing in Winter and cycling in Summer. Gondola's will take you to the top on the Yllasjarvi side of the fell for spectacular views.
In winter, November to May, there are plenty of snow activities available. Free buses to the ski slopes 3km away can be picked up at the end of the road and cross country ski tracks are at the back of the cabin to travel miles .Local activity Companies can provide ski mobiles,snow shoes,husky rides and many other excursions.Santa's house is just metres from the cabin making a magical trip even more memorable for children.
During the summer, May to August,there are many outdoor pursuits ; hiking,Nordic walking,canoeing,cycling and more! Trails are all well marked from the local visitor centre.You can travel for miles on the rivers in a canoe/Kayak and not see a soul.Very peaceful and relaxing and totally unspoilt. Lots to do and see at a lovely time of year to visit.
September and October is Ruska time, Very beautiful autumn colours are everywhere, a time not be be missed.
If you appreciate unspoilt villages rather than the concrete jungles this is the place for you!
