Overview
Aquarius homes is a small development of five houses completed late 2005 on the outskirts of Pyla village. It is approximately 3km from the sea, 10km to Larnaca town and within 20 minutes drive of Larnaca Airport. For those quiet evenings you can sit and relax in the warm summer breeze overlooking the pool that is lit up at nights. For those special occasions their are many good quality restaurants nearby and of course plenty of real Greek and Turkish tavernas.
The house itself has been furnished to a very high standard and shares the large swimming pool with the other four properties on the development. There are two settee's in the lounge, TV, DVD and video and in the dining area a table with six chairs and airconditioning. In the kitchen you have everything you would need for your stay including oven/hob, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. Both the two bedrooms on the first floor have single beds, airconditioning and balconies, one with sea views and the other with mountain views. The fully fitted bathroom includes a bath with a shower over. The third bedroom which is in the loft area is fitted with a double bed and airconditioning.
The patio area which overlooks the swimming pool is furnished with a patio table with six chairs and a parasol for you to enjoy during those long warm summer evenings. There are also sun loungers and a built in barbeque.

Location & area
The old village of Pyla still retains a traditional friendly Cypriot atmosphere. Here you will find both Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots enjoying life in the same village. With this property being on the edge of the village makes it especially suitable for couples and families. There are various shops and numerous tavernas and bars selling authentic greek, turkish and international food along with live music and dancing all at competitive prices. Close by there is an amusement park with go karts and horse riding. The local blue flag beach is about 5 minutes drive away with water sports and plenty of bars and restaurants.
If you wish to explore North Cyprus, there is a crossing point north of Pyla village.
Cyprus experiences 320 days of sunshine a year, hot summers and mild winters. The city of Larnaca, one of the oldest in the world and third largest in Cyprus, is less than 20 minutes drive away.
With numerous bars, restaurants, shops, museums and churches, Larnaca is a busy city with plenty to see and do. The palm lined Foinikoudes promenade is perfect for an evening stroll before dinner at one of the numerous restaurants and cafes, many of which have stunning sea views. Larnaca fort and Agios Lazarus church are well worth a look.
The famous Nissi beach at Agia Napa is only a twenty minute drive from the property. With crystal clear blue beaches and golden sands this resort town is popular with young holidaymakers, with all types of water sports, restaurants, bars and clubs.
Near Agia Napa the rugged coast toward Cape Greko has a string of beautiful sandy coves, whilst inland is the basket-making community of Liopetri, and the village of Sotira with churches dating to the 15th and 16th centuries. You can go east to Protaras, popular with families and onto Deryneia, where the border between South and North Cyprus can be viewed.
Nicosia is a 35 minute drive from the property and is the worlds only remaining divided capital. It has an excellent selection of shops, restaurants, bars and museums. It is less touristy than some of the coastal towns and has a beautiful old town, inside the 16th-century Venetian walls. The crossing point here allows you to walk over to the other side of Nicosia.(your passport is required)

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
