Overview

Ampeli Villa ("Vineyard Villa") is ideally located in the quiet, friendly and traditional resort of Pissouri Bay in the heart of Cyprus's vine-growing district, and within easy reach of Paphos airport, historical sites, water parks, golf and the Troodos Mountains. The downstairs of the villa is open-plan, light and airy, with views over open farmland to the sea. It is furnished to a high standard in a contemporary style and equipped with everything you need for a luxurious holiday including UK Freeview satellite tv (or bring your own Sky card for subscription channels). Mini wi-fi laptop with pay-as-you-go internet access (currently 10 Euros a week).Upstairs are three double bedrooms, each with its own balcony.You will probably spend most of your time sunbathing and relaxing in the secluded garden and cooling off in the 9m x 4m pool. Featuring colourful plants, shrubs, scented climbers, grape vines and fruit trees, and surrounded by hedges for privacy, the garden offers shade and sun, with a regular sea breeze. There are 6 sun loungers and a large parasol. The pergola-shaded terrace has an outdoor dining table for 6. There is also a grassy area for family games (provided).The Blue Flag beach has beachfront tavernas, safe bathing monitored by lifeguards and plenty of watersports. Garden, terrace and pool lighting is an attractive feature for al fresco dining on balmy evenings. Alternatively, take an easy 2-minute stroll into Pissouri Bay and choose from a wide range of tavernas or restaurants.2009 availability: 26 Aug - 4 Sept

The villa is just two minutes' walk from the beach and resort centre.

Pissouri Bay is mid-way between Paphos and Limassol, and a 25-minute drive from each. Pissouri Village is a larger hilltop settlement a 5-minute drive away. Both Pissouri Bay and Pissouri Village have weekly "Cyprus Night" entertainments, which feature traditional music and dancing.
Aphrodite Hills and Secret Valley championship golf courses are within a 15-minute drive.

Downstairs is a spacious open-plan living/dining/kitchen area. Two sets of patio doors provide views of the pool, garden and sea beyond. There is a circular glass dining table for 6, two comfortable sofas, a leather lounger and swivel chair, and occasional tables. A cloakroom and utility room complete the downstairs facilities.

The air-conditioned bedrooms and bathrooms are all upstairs. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and an ensuite shower room. The other two bedrooms have twin beds and share the family bathroom, which has a bath with shower over. Each bedroom has air conditioning, fitted wardrobes, bedside units, a dressing table and its own balcony.
