Overview

The apartment has views towards the beautiful bay of Pissouri. It is one of a small block of ten situated at the end of a quiet private road. The beach is a twelve minute walk away. Use of Ampelohori swimming pool is included and is only a two minute stroll away. The pool is open from April to October and has an excellent restaurant and bar. Tennis courts are available for a small charge. Near the beach there is a dive centre offering beginners and advanced diving courses (also fantastic diving trips). Excellent Cyprus golf courses are a short drive away. Pissouri Bay is also an ideal base for Cyprus kite surfing.This is an end ground floor apartment. There is a comfortable sitting area (including bed settee) with a TV and a dining area with pine table and chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped including a washing machine. There are two air conditioned bedrooms, one double and one twin bedded. There is space in either room to set up the folded bed (stored in wardrobe). The bathroom has a modern white bathroom suite with shower.Linen is provided except beach towels. The water is heated by solar panels although there is an immersion heater for the odd dull day. The air conditioning units convert to heaters for the chillier months. The apartment is available all year round. Book early to avoid disappointment. The rates below are for the apartment, not per person.Rates for 2008 (£ Sterling)

November and April £260 per week
May – October £305 per week.A 50% non-refundable deposit will be required on all bookings (holiday insurance recommended to cover any cancellations). Balance to be paid 6 weeks before departure.

Location & area

The area of Pissouri Beach is a beautiful unspoilt bay. It is approx 3km from the main motorway down a vineyard beach lane.



Paphos airport is a twenty minute drive away. Larnaca airport is just over an hour away. It is a good idea to hire a car although taxis run to and from the airports. Pissouri taxis are cheap (e.g. from Skeleas Court to the Village costs around 8 Euros).



Pissouri Beach has one hotel, several tavernas, three supermarkets and one bank. There are two car hire agents. (There is also a car hire agent near to the apartment). Pissouri Village is slightly busier with more tavernas, banks, supermarkets and an excellent butchers shop. Traditional Cypriot festivals are celebrated in the friendly village square during the year and visitors are always made welcome. The village is approx 3km car ride up hill from the beach.



Pissouri beach is a mixture of sand, shingle and pebbles. Water sports and sun-beds are available. Turtle spotting is a must!
