Description

Wake up to the sound of birdsong at Katerina Cottage! It is completely detached and quietly situated within an 11000sq.m secluded and gated walnut grove enclosed by mature fir trees, in a country lane leading to the undeveloped beaches and sea, (just 1km away). This house is furnished to a very high standard and is on one level. The superb tiled "overflow" pool measuring 33' x 10' is this property's "jewel in the crown". The location is rural, even though the nightlife, shops and restaurants of Paphos Town are just 1.6km away. This pretty area is protected from development. Yeroskipou is a large bustling village offering you lots to do and see, and the village square with its beautiful 5 domed church Ayia Parakevi, supermarket, banks, coffee shops, restaurants and shops is just 1.6km. It is famous for its locally made exotic flavours of “Turkish Delight” or “Loukoumia”, ie rose, pergamon, mint etc. and handmade baskets and pots.

Accommodation

Downstairs: The open-plan lounge is comfortably furnished and has a fire place for cooler months. French doors to poolside and covered shaded terrace, ideal for outdoor dining. The kitchen is well equipped and the open plan dining area has quality wooden table and chairs. Both bedrooms, a double and a twin, have lovely views of the orchard. Both bedrooms share a shower w.c. (Not wide enough for a wheelchair). The windows have mosquito mesh which will allow you to have windows open without allowing mosquitoes in, and the bedrooms have blackout blinds.

Outside: The large tiled private pool has overflow feature at the edges, Roman steps and a hand rail. Depth all over: 1.4m (this means it is ideal for swimming without knocking your knees in the shallow end, and adults can stand up anywhere, so it is also good as an adults learning pool.) Pool side has illumination at night and built in BBQ. Gated and fenced garden.
