Overview
Sunridge is a brand new 3 bedroom/3 bathroom luxury villa set in a one donum (1/3rd acre) garden with a large overflow swimming pool situated on the hillside in Malataya a small village above Alsancak. It has spectacular mountain views from the rear of the property and sea views from the front balcony and terraces. A five minute drive takes you into the village of Alsancak with several restaurants and a supermarket a few minutes further driving will bring you to the historic harbour town of Girne (Kyrenia) with its harbour bars, restaurants and magnificent castle.
Sunridge has 2 en-suite bedrooms on the first floor, currently arranged as two double bedrooms. A twin bedroom is on the ground floor where you will also find a guest bathroom with bath and shower. All bedrooms have air conditioning and built in wardrobes. A large first floor sea facing balcony is ideal for sundowners and is accessed from the landing. The villa is double glazed and has shutters.
The large lounge has four double doors accessing the terraced area to the swimming pool and an under cover out door eating area. A door mid way on the stairs allows access to a further ourdoor eating area with views to the mountains.
The kitchen/diner is fully equipped. Two sets of French doors lead out onto the uncover terrace area for al fresco dining the other to the side garden. A utility room housing the washing machine is found under the stairs to the first floor.
Sunridge boasts a fantastic 10m x 5m overflow swimming pool with roman steps and a ladder at the deep end. Pool side furniture is also supplied.
Floors are tiled throughout with marble or local ceramic tiles. Access to the villa is gained up a short block paved driveway and the villa is surrounded by a stone wall and newly planted (mid September 2005) landscaped gardens.
The villa has been tastefully furnished with local craftsmanship hand painted furniture. The pool, garden and villa are fully managed by a local company who will be contactable throughout your stay.
Please note the villa is not suitable for those visitors aged 10 years and under.
Please note beach towels are not supplied.

Malatya is situated in the hills above the lovely village of Alsancak. The village has something to offer everyone with authentic village atmosphere and easy access to the beaches and restaurants. There are a couple of well-stocked mini markets for all your supplies plus a new larger supermarket . Alsancak is approximately 6 miles west of Kyrenia / Girne with its pretty old harbour and magnificent castle. The harbour is lovely during the day and night , with plenty of restaurants and bars and looks magical of a night.

It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
