Overview

Olive Tree Villa is a brand new detached 3 bedroom privately owned villa with it's own superb pool available to rent from September 2006
It is set just a few hundred meters from the blue flag beach of Agia Thekla village
The villa sleeps upto 8 people and is a perfect choice for families or couplesThe villa is set on a large plot and has a private swimming pool ( 8m x 4m ) with plenty of patio space and a large veranda to enjoy the Cyprus climate
The pool area is fully equipped with a table for dining, patio chairs, sun loungers, umbrella, a traditional Cyprus barbecue and both patio and pool lightingThe villa has high quality remote controlled air conditioning in all bedrooms and in the lounge/dining area
The kitchen is fully equiped with fridge freezer, hob, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, washing machine and a wide range of kitchen and dining ware
All three bedrooms are furnished to a very high standard and provide accommodation of 2 bedrooms with double beds and a bedroom with 2 single beds. There is also a double sofa bed in the lounge area.
The master bedroom and bedroom 2 have double patio doors opening onto the large upper terrace
Bedroom 3 is on the ground floor and has double patio doors opening onto the front terrace
All bedrooms have built in wardrobes with ample hanging and drawer space
There is a large fully tiled bathroom on the upper floor with walk in shower, washbasin and toilet. A separate toilet with washbasin is on the ground floor. There is also an outside shower for use in the pool area
The lounge features comfortable seating with a television and DVD/CD player
As a safety feature for families with small children, access to the pool area can be resticted by means of a gated wooden fence
A travel cot and high chair can be provided upon request

Location & area

Within a 5 minutes walk of the villa there is a small local supermarket and a local taverna set just back from the beach.



Agia Thekla is ideally located and is only a 3 minutes drive from the bordering Makronisos, which has a large selection of restaurants and bars.



Potamos Liopetriou



The picturesque fishing shelter at Potamos Liopetriou, just east of the village of Xylofagou, is a photogenic inlet where fishermen mend their nets by day, before setting sail in the evening to farm the sea.



Extending beyond the fishing shelter is an unspoilt nature reserve, which boasts an excellent beach, a tiny place of worship, and a couple of traditional greek tavernas.



Protaras



Protaras, the main tourist area of Paralimni, is within a 10 minutes drive of the Villa, and is one of the most popular areas of Cyprus. It extends for approximately 10 kilometres beginning in the north in the Kapparis locality and ending in the south in the Konnos area.



Protaras has built up a reputation for its windmills and glorious sandy beaches. The area has a contrasting landscape, from the rugged coves of Cape Greko to the the lovely sandy beach of Fig Tree Bay.



Agia Napa



The old town of Ayia Napa, 5km from the villa, was originally a small fishing village. The charming monastery stands in the middle of the village surrounded by a high wall. Its 16th century church is partially undergound, cut into the rock.



The town is home to a superb range of restaurants and bars and is less than a 10 minutes drive from the villa. The harbour area has a number of fish restaurants which descend onto the harbour and overlook the nearby beach.



Mountains:



The Troodos Mountains cover most of the southern and western portions of the island and account for roughly half of its area.



Between December through to April it?s often possible to go skiing in the Troodos Mountains, and Mount Olympus has seven runs. Although you will not be guaranteed to find snow, it can sometimes reach a depth of up to 3m in the Troodos.



The mountain villages are absolutely stunning and the people most friendly and hospitable. The climate of the Troodos Mountains allows a variety of wildlife and many species of plants, birds and animal.



Waterworld Water Park:



This superb water park is located within a 10 minutes walk of the Villa.



Waterworld Cyprus is 70,000 square meters in size, is the largest waterpark in Cyprus, and currently the largest themed water-park in Europe.
