Overview

Apartments Petra are nestled on the Dalmatian coastline, more specifically in Borik the most attractive and interesting part of the historical city of Zadar. Our apartments are situated in a private villa, located just 400 meters from the shoreline with majestic views of Zadar channel and the island of Ugljan. Borik is a well-known tourist destination with numerous beaches, promenades, restaurants and renowned hotel and camping areas offering an array of sports and social activities.

Our residence includes 2 apartments for 4 people, 2 apartments for 2+2 people and 2 studio apartments for 2 people. Each apartment is furnished with a digital satellite/terrestrial television set, A/C unit, as well as a covered patio with a sea view. In the privacy of the property greens are two open grills available for your outdoor pleasure. Ample car parking is also included within the property grounds. The close vicinity of all modes of transportation allows you to reach us with ease, making the property a great starting destination for all your daily tours, including trips to amazing places in North Dalmatia or numerous islands and National Parks.

Location & area

The city of Zadar is easily accessible by land, sea or by air. The extensive road infrastructure allows easy connections to other large Croatian cities. Zadar has experienced a recent growth in new tourist and business perspective after the completion of the modern highway, Zagreb-Split (A1). From downtown Zadar it takes approximately three hours to reach the capital of Croatia (Zagreb) via the new highway or by hydro-powerboat to the North of Croatia. A ferry and tourist harbor is situated right on the peninsula of Zadar. A direct ferry line between Zadar and Ancona in Italy is available throughout the year. Zadar (ZAD) airport is only 9 kilometers outside of the city. The Airport has daily connections between several Croatian cities including Zagreb International airport (Pleso). Low budget airline carriers such as Ryanair, Germanwings and SkyEurope have connections between Zadar and many European destinations.





The further extension of Zadar airport terminal in 2007 has increased the number of flights, thus bringing a new influx of tourism and business into the region.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud

It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:

  • It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
  • If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
  • Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
