Overview
Kuca Visoka is situated in a delightful, quiet courtyard behind the post office, 10 metres from the riva (waterfront). This is shared with three other houses.

The 1st floor is home to an open plan lounge, with sofabed, easy chairs, and second dining table (and chairs). A set of double doors leads you to the balcony which over-looks the courtyard; a TV/video, film library and stereo are also available for your use.
On the 2nd floor you will find the master bedroom, complete with built in wardrobe and ceiling fan, and the main bathroom, which comprises of bath/shower, toilet and washing machine.
On the 3rd floor, to the rear is a second large double/twin bedroom with floor-to-ceiling fitted wardrobe and standing fan - to the front is one further, single bedroom that can sleep one or two people, which also has a standing fan and a mini wardrobe.

Location & area
Lying 40 km off the coast of Dalmatia, Croatia's most beautiful and remote island is the Mediterranean as it used to be. You won't find hotel complexes or rampant commercialization on Vis. What you will find are the friendliest of people, unspoilt, secluded coves, delicious sea-food, stunning scenery and the cleanest waters in the Adriatic.
Vis is a throwback to a simpler way of life before mass-tourism was invented - the island only opened up to tourists in 1989. You can relax, chill out and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere safe in the knowledge that you are somewhere the rest of the world isn't. You can hike, bicycle, scooter, drive, swim, snorkel, dive, sail, admire the views, sunbathe or simply watch the world go by, glass of plavac in hand. Our 4-storey house in the historic centre of Vis town is available for your exclusive use from just €500 per week.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
