Overview

Newly renovated, all the six apartments of the villa are air conditioned, tastefully furnished and have stunning sea views. The villa is centrally located in a lovely village which offers all the amenities. There are restaurants within minutes walk in either direction and plenty of water sports like wind surfing in the nearby village of Viganj. There is also kayaking, sailing, walking, trekking, cycling and fishing. Our guests can laze the days away sipping the local wine while relaxing on the coverd veranda on the ground floor or the terrace on the first floor. Second floor apartments have balconies. The top floor apartment has stunning views from all the windows and patio doors including the bedrooms. There is some night life, Viganj has a disco, there is a nightclub in Korcula and the local hotels offer entertainment in the evening. Orebic has many shops and restaurants and ferry services to the island of Korcula opposite to visit the historic Old Town.

Location & area

Orebic is a famoust tourist destination, it is known as a maritime center of the southern Dalmatian peninsula Peljesac, famous for wines and wine growing. It lies on the southern coast of the peninsula that is connected to the mainland by road via Ston and by ferry line Ploce - Trpanj. The whole peninsula, covered with dense evergreen and Mediterranean vegetation, belongs to the warmest places on the Adriatic thanks to the many sunny days. In Orebic, there is a wide range of tourist services: private and hotel accommodation, sporting and recreational facilities (including tennis courts and football fields), water sports (all necessary equipment can be rented on the beaches), and sailing and surfing courses. The surroundings are ideal for walks, hiking and gathering of plants, while the wine slopes in the interior are dotted with wine trails and wine cellars where you can taste or buy homemade Peljesac wine and "prosek" - a sweet liquor made from grapes. There is a large sandy beach in the bay of Trstenica, while there are numerous rocky bays with small beaches close to Orebic for those looking for privacy. Orebic is proud of its gastronomic specialties, primarily oysters and mussels bred in the area, as well as its wines Dingac and Postup. Peljesac is the name of the huge peninsula, which is 65 km long (from Ston in the east to Loviste in the west). The highest peka is Saint Elias above Orebic; it is 961 m high. The inhabitants have always occupied themselves mainly with wine-growing and shipping. For the island of Korcula, Peljesac is land and the early settling of Korcula took place from Peljesac.

Amenities & services

The studo is tastefully decorated and contains a large double bed with twin mattresses and a sofa bed. It is very comfortable for a family of two adults and 2 children. All the fittings and furnishings are new.
There is a kitchenette and a dinning area. Measuring around 40sq meters, this studio is very spacious and enjoys lovely sea view. The patio doors open on to a balcony where the guests can sit and enjoy the views over the island of Korcula opposite.
The bathroom has a sink, a toilet and a shower. It is fitted with shaver and hairdryer points.
There is a satelite TV and guests can recieve english channels.
Guests may use the downstairs shower after they have been swimming in the sea. There is a barbecue on the terrace on the first floor which is for the guests to use. They may also use this terrace or the back garden for sunbathing or relaxing. Of course the guests can relax on the private pier infront of the villa, which offers a secluded area for their enjoyment.
