Overview

Korcula Waterfront Accommodation is in an exclusive and quiet neighborhood, less than a 10 minute stroll from Korcula Old Town and the town center. (The birth place of Marco Polo.) Located in the nearest bay, it is quite close so that everything is easily accessible, but just far enough so you can enjoy peace and privacy. The waterfront villa boasts balconies with 180 degree sea views, views of the surrounding pine and cypress forests and Mount Ilija on the mainland. Being situated only 5 meters from the sea, you can swim and sunbathe from the private jetty or there are several beaches in the area. The nearest sand beach is about 300m away, and there are great places to go bush walking.

Location & area

Korcula Waterfront Accommodation is located on the island of Korcula, in the town of the same name. The island is part of the southern Dalmatian archipelago, and is found approximately half way between the cities of Dubrovnik and Split. Korcula has a mild Mediterranean climate and enjoys approximately 3000 hours of sunshine per year. The island is unspoiled with an abundance of secluded places to swim in its crystal clear sea, and it is the most densely forested of Croatia’s islands. Korcula is also a famous wine and olive oil making district. Korcula Old Town is a miniature Dubrovnik, only cheaper and with a lot less tourists. It is renowned for its history and architecture, and for being the birth place of Marco Polo.




SIGHTSEEING IN KORCULA OLD TOWN: Wander around the walled town of Korcula with its 6 towers and cannons. Discover the house of Marko Polo. Visit Saint Mark’s Cathedral and the other Catholic churches. See the Town Museum and the Abbey Palace Treasury. Take photos of the main entrance into the Old Town, St. Mark’s Square and the Town Hall Square. Browse through the galleries with paintings and souvenirs by local artists.



ACTIVITIES: We organize boat and bike rental, excursions and fishing trips at a reasonable price.

The open air balcony has a sun cover that can be opened and closed, a wooden table, chairs and lounge chairs. Here you can sunbathe, watch your children swim in front of the house, or enjoy dinner under the stars. The apartment has 1 bedroom with a double bed, a wardrobe, 2 bedside tables, shelves and an opening window. The 1 bathroom has a sink, toilet, spacious shower, heater and hairdryer. The self catering apartment has a fully equipped kitchen/living room, with a sink, fridge with freezer, oven with cook top, microwave, kettle and toaster. There is a TV/satellite, dining table and chairs, a fold out sofa bed and large double doors that open out onto the balcony. All guests have access to a washing machine, iron and ironing board. The private jetty/dock and barbeque area are at everyone's disposal.
