Overview

Apartment Tedo is a good holiday accommodation for families with up to
four children and friends who wish to stay in a well equipped house.Our village is a secure place for your holiday. Here you can enjoy a beautiful nature, swim in clean water and you will be in a central location for sightseeing tours to the many interesting places in your surrounding area. There are four semi-detached houses of 60 m2 each. Each house has a terrace at the front door and a balcony in front of the master bedroom.From both the terrace and the balcony there is a wonderful view of the sea, the village and over the small islands to the Peljesac Peninsula in the distance.
At the back of the houses there is a garden (where a family of tortoises live!) and two shared terraces, both with a big barbecue. The houses are identical. At the lower floor there is a living room and an open kitchen that is well-equipped to a standards we have for our own homes. The upper floor has two bedrooms (both with air condition) and a bathroom with washing machine and hair-dryer. The master bedroom has exit to a balcony and the family bedroom has exit to the garden.
Each house has a garden table with six chairs and extra chairs if you need it.Downstairs there is a living room with a sofa for two persons, a coffee table and a dining table with six chairs (two chairs may be upstairs in the bedrooms. There is a wall mounted 20" TV with satellite receiver (Astra 1) that will receive BBC World, Sky Channel CNN, Euro port and a large number of channels in German, Italian and French. There is also reception of many radio channels. In the cupboard there is a DVD player, some movies (mainly for children), novels, maps and our book advice and directions about how you can get the best out of your stay. There is also prints of all the sightseeing advice you may find here on the page Sightseeing.The kitchens are all equipped with the utensils we require personality when we stay in Komarna and to a measure that we wish for in our homes in DenmarkThe master bedroom on the upper floor has bed side tables, closet, clock radio, air condition
and exit to the balcony overlooking the sea. There are two good chairs
and a coffee table on the balcony and it is a great place to have a drink
when the sun sets in the west.The family bedroom has bunk beds (full-size mattresses), table, closet, air condition and a sofa that can be converted into two full-size beds. There is exit to the garden from this bedroom.

Tedo-2 and Tedo-3 are non-smoking houses.
Wireless internet access, all linnen, electricity, tax and water is included in the price.
Breakfast is available af 6 Euro per person. 3 Euro for children under 12.

Location & area

Komarna lies in the bay of Mali Ston and has a clear view of the Peninsula of Peljesac. The coast is dotted with small islands, reefs and cliffs offering a spectacular view much like Southern Thailand or Greece.



Komarna is primarily a summer resort for people from the surrounding cities and there is also apartments and houses available for tourists to rent for a holiday stay.



You will not find many facilities in Komarna. One small hotel with a restaurant that is open during the tourist season, one konoba (cafe) and a mini-market.



Next to the hotel in Villa Komarna there is a fitness centre and a swimming pool that you can get access to for a fee.



The village is a friendly, unspoiled and safe place. Children may run around without getting in trouble and the mix of local people and a few tourists is just right.



Three kilometres to the south is the holiday resort Klek. A further five kilometres will take you to Neum, the only seaside town in Bosnia-Hercegovina where there is several big shops and hotels.



In Klek and Neum there is a selection of restaurants, bars and shops. Klek is open from April to October and in Neum you will find restaurants, shops and department stores open all year.



Komarna is also ideal as a base for sightseeing. Many historical places and world-class tourist attractions can be reached by car within an hour. And close by there are several interesting and little known places that are well worth your visit. Read more about this on the page Sightseeing.



The beach in Komarna is 300 meters from Apartment Tedo. It is a pebble beach in a little bay protected from the west-wind and where the water is safe for small children
