Overview

Our brand new frontline apartment (first rentals/furnished May 2007) is located on a friendly complex, on the third floor overlooking the Black Sea and the new marina, with excellent views to Nessebar and Sunny Beach. Only seperated from the beach/sea by the pool immediately below.

It can sleep up to 6 people - with two double bedrooms, and double sofa bed in the lounge.

Facilities

Bedrooms: Master Bedroom with double bed, wardrobe, dresser etc. Great balcony with pool and sea view. Ensuite bathroom.
Second Bedroom with two single beds, wardrobe and dresser etc

Bathrooms: Bathroom ensuite to master bedroom - with shower, washbasin and toilet. Floor and walls all marble tiles.
Bathroom next to second bedroom - with shower, washbasin and toilet. Floor and walls all marble tiles.

Kitchen: Kitchen is well appointed having hob,oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, iron/ironing board and full kitchen utensils

Lounge/Dining Room : Living space is open plan leading off kitchen area with dining table and 6 chairs, coffee table, L shaped sofa, Digital TV , remote control air conditioning.

Living space leads to a wonderful balcony with table and chairs - with the amazing views directly over the marina, sea, pool, Nessebar and Sunny Beach.

About the complex

The VEGA Resort is a complex of privately owned apartments, completed in June 2005 and is just a few metres from the flagship marina which opened in 2006, and adjacent to the lovely sandy beaches of St Vlas.

The complex boasts excellent facilities which include 2 magnificient split level pools, poolside bars, a restaurant, gymnasium and Sauna.

Built right on the front line the VEGA complex has superb views over the bay towards Sunny Beach and Nessebar. Behind the develpoment lies the Watermill complex and then the old village of St Vlas.

VEGA is approximately 20 minutes from Bourgas airport and around 45 minutes from Varna - all local amenities are within walking distance, and it is not necessary to hire a car. Taxis are readily available at the airport and around the complex. Typical transfer from the airport will cost 33 euros. A taxi to Sunny Beach will cost around £4.

The complex is ideal for couples and young families alike - with great pools, many cafes and bars nearby, lovely restaurants and the superb beaches of St. Vlas on the door step. The area has everything for a great holiday. You can still eat out in restaurants for less than £10 per couple!

About St Vlas and activities

St. Vlas is a beautiful coastal village about 25 minutes drive from Bourgas airport. It is situated approximately 4 km north of the lively resort of Sunny Beach and 9 km from the ancient town of Nessebar. Lying at the foot of the spectacular Stara Planina mountain range, the natural conditions from the sea, forests and mountains offer the purest of air.

St. Vlas is a much smaller and quieter resort than neighbouring Sunny Beach, which is ideally suited to families and couples or those wishing to escape the noise and crowds, but it has all the facilities of Sunny Beach at hand when you want a change of scenery. You will find the locals very friendly and helpful and most can speak English.

St. Vlas has three beaches measuring approximately 1.5 km in length, offering a variety of water sports for the energetic, or peace and seclusion for those wanting a more relaxing holiday. The gentle sloping waters are ideal for young children. A brand new luxury marina is under 20 metres stroll from the apartment.


There are several small shops in St. Vlas with plenty of bargains, a vast number in Sunny Beach, and for even more bargains a trip into Bourgas is well worth a visit. (You can catch a bus to there from Sunny Beach). Bulgaria is a shopper's paradise with bargains to be had everywhere. You may want to leave your shopping for holiday clothes until you get there – it's much cheaper

As per the descriptions of facilties around the complex, there are plenty of activities to enjoy if you don't just fancy lazing around the beaches and pools all day. An example of some of the nearby activies include :

Beach Actvities include - water skiing, banana boat, pedalos, windsurfing, canoeing, jet skiing, fishing, beach volleyball - with even more available in Sunny Beach!

Scuba diving, canoeing, pedalos etc are available on the beach right infront of the apartment.
