The Sveti Vlas (St.Vlas) village has about 3,000 inhabitants and is situated just 4 km to the north of Sunny Beach resort and 9 km away from the town of Nessebar.
It lies in the skirts of the Stara Planina mountain (also called the Balkan mountain) and thus offers a beautiful combination of sea and mountain climate, considered favourable for those suffering from lung diseases.
The adjacent beaches are of a total length of about 1km and average width of 16 metres. The eastern end of the village's adjacent coastal line hosts the small port of local fishermen.
The city of Bourgas has a population of almost 200,000 people according to recent data, and is the second largest city at the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. It is also the fourth largest city in the country, following Sofia, Plovdiv and connecting Varna.
It is situated in the farthest western part of the Bourgas Bay and 390km east of Sofia. Due to the low level of the coast in the area, three lagoon-lakes (the Atanassovo, Bourgas, and Mandren lakes) lie in the area surrounding the city.
There is regular bus transport from Nessebar, Sunny Beach and Bourgas to Sveti Vlas, and plenty of private minibuses, route and ordinary taxis.
There is also water transport to and from Nessebar and Bourgas to Sunny Beach.
The international airport of Burgas is a 20 to 30 minute drive away and is served by international carriers and charter airlines from throughout Europe.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
