Overview

This one bedroom apartment is in the Bulgarian town of Ravda, in a prime seafront position on the Black Sea Coast. The luxury apartment can easily accommodate four people. The bedroom has twin beds, wardrobe, dressing table and bedside cabinet with a door leading out onto the large balcony. The living area has two small double bed settees, television, DVD player and coffee table. The whole apartment is air conditioned, with a separate air conditioning unit in the bedroom. The large kitchen is at the back of the living area and has a built in cooker, microwave, hob, toaster, kettle and fridge with small freezer compartment. There is also a dining table with four chairs. The bathroom is fully tiled with a power shower. This is a no smoking apartment for the comfort of all the guests.The balcony has sea views on both sides and overlooks the fantastic complex swimming pool.
Riviera Fort Beach complex has its own restaurant, tennis courts, children's play area and 24 hour gated security. The large swimming pool also has a jacuzzi and children's section. The gate at the back of the complex leads directly onto the popular sandy beach.

Location & area

There are many interesting things to do and see in the area around Ravda. There is a water park which only opened in 2006, for which there is a free shuttle bus from the centre of Ravda. This was recently doubled in size in 2009 with a luxurious chilling out area complete with cocktail bar. There are water sports nearby and many restaurants, bars and a casino. Ravda is a bustling village with a true Bulgarian feel.
The UNESCO protected town of Nessebar is a few minutes away by bus. Again the buses run from the centre of Ravda and the cost is about 50p. As a museum town Nessebar is classified as a world heritage site. In this small town you can see the remains of over 40 ancient churches and centuries old traditional Bulgarian houses. Its beach is considered to be the best along the Black Sea coast. The sand strip is 4.5 km long covered with extremely fine and abundant clean golden sand.The town is split into two parts the Old Town and the New Town. There are lots of bars and shops in the new town. There are also many shops and various stalls selling hand made local products and many local paintings in the Old Town.
Just further on from Nessebar is the bustling tourist town of Sunny Beach. Here you will find a glorious beach and many restaurants, bars and shops. Lots of water sports can be found here and also another water park.

An excellent week spent here. The apartment is clean and spacious with all the mod-cons you need. The views of the sea and the pool couldn't be better! There are shops and restaurants a short walk away from the apartment and a short bus ride takes you to the nearest town. Highly recommended.

I had a fab holiday staying here. The apartment is really spacious with upto date amenities and has great views over the pool and beach. Situated in a welcoming village with shops and restaurants it was a great location to see how the locals live. With frequent bus services to more built up tourist areas, we had the best of both worlds. I would strongly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a fun holiday in Bulgaria whilst staying in a clean and up to date apartment.

‘A fantastic apartment in a perfect location. Myself and two friends stayed for a week and we had loads of room in the apartment and everything we needed. The location of the accommodation is perfect too and the bus which is just a short walk away is great for getting out and about.

The pool is lovely and you couldn’t be closer to the beach…perfect.’
