Overview

A one bedroom maisonette in the brand new apartment complex - Eagle Rock - in the valley of Beli Iskar, a typical Bulgarian village, with panoramic views of the magnificant Rila mountains.

The living area is open plan with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge area with mountain views and french doors onto the balcony. There is a double sofa bed and a single sofa bed in the lounge area. Fully furnished double bedroom upstairs with bathroom, which has toilet shower and bath. There is also a downstairs toilet and an entrance hall.

For skiers, there is a locker room in the basement of the complex for storage of ski equipment.
The complex has a reception area, bar and leisure facilities including swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and gym, all of which are included in the price. There are also massage rooms for a small charge.

Location & area

The complex has a bar and retaurant and there are a number of local grocery shops within walking distance.



The nearest large town is Samakov, which is a short bus ride for around 3 leva (£1.20). The bus stops outside and runs regularly to Samakov, which has lots of shops, bars and restaurants.



Car hire would be beneficial and the complex has parking facilities. There is excellent walking and hiking.



Lake Iskar, which has a 30km circumference, is close by, and has natural beaches and numerous private coves and small bays, with swimming, walking, fishing and water sports in the summer season.



In the winter season, there is excellent ski-ing at the large and bustling ski resort of Borovets, currently reached by shuttle bus from the complex, although a new chair lift is planned which will be right outside the complex. Other smaller ski resorts can be reached by public transport or taxi.
