Overview

Mountain Dream is a 4* luxury complex set a little above the town of Bansko in a great position next to the Pirin mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and close to the gondola home ski run. The complex has excellent facilities including an 18m diameter indoor pool, Jacuzzi, gym, sauna and spa and treatments centre, a restaurant, bar, games room and launderette. A shuttle bus service is provided. The hotel charges for some facilities. F14 is the perfect apartment from which to ski and snowboard in winter and enjoy the delights of mountain living in the hot summer sun including walking, hiking, fishing cycling or visiting local attractions such as the Rila Monastery or the Dancing Bears Park. Bansko, itself, has an attractive quaint old town centre with lots of character as well as boasting over 100 places to eat.

Situated on the fourth floor but served by a lift we have tried to make our apartment a home from home. Extras have been added to make the apartment more baby and child friendly but with a majority of single beds it is still perfect for a group of up to six friends. A selection of DVDs, books and games are there to help while away any spare hours.

Location & area

Mountain Dream is situated 1km up the mountain road above the Gondola station. Set on a rise the complex has good views and is not dominated by other developments. It is only an easy,fairly level 200m walk across to the Gondola home run ski road. Just 100m away one of the marked walks through the Pirin National Park can be joined.

In both bedrooms there are single beds which can be pushed together. There are also 2 easy to erect camp beds, one of which will comfortably fit into the larger bedroom or in the hallway if the double sofa bed is not suitable.

We have added extra safety on the balconies for young children together with a cot, baby bath, small and high chair.

There is one shower room but two toilets.
One balcony, shared by the living room and a bedroom, overlooks the valley. The other over looks the garden and the mountains.
