Looking for the perfect Bansko apartment for rent?We know how difficult it can be to find an apartment in Bansko that has everything you want and also be within easy walking distance of the slopes. But here it is - our apartment is on the 1st floor of a brand new development called the Little Snow Jewel, situated only 5 minutes walk from the gondola station, 10 minutes walk from the town square and 5 minutes walk from the traditional stone houses and cobbled streets of the old quarters.The south facing apartment is both bright and spacious, sleeping 4 comfortably, with 2 separate balconies providing spectacular views of the Pirin mountains. For larger parties of up to 20 guests, additional accomodation can be arranged in the Little Snow Jewel (see our website for more information).Our Bansko apartment has been newly furnished, to include all the luxuries of home, including a 15" LCD TV, combined DVD, CD and MP3 player (which can also be used for camcorder playback) and of course there's no need to pack the iron and hairdryer either, it's all here!In the basement, you have secure access to your very own private ski room, which can be used to store hiking gear and mountain bikes in the summer. There is also a sauna, a gym and a residents party room complete with wood burning stove.If you are not familiar with the resort, Bansko ski resort is considered to be the best developed in Eastern Europe, an attractive medieval town located in one of the worlds national heritage sites and at the foot of the 2,915m Mount Vihren in the scenic Pirin mountain range. Steeped in history and culture, Bansko's cobbled streets are home to traditional stone-built houses and family run bars and restaurants, where the local people are always warm and friendly.The Bansko ski resort has a long ski season that runs from mid December until mid April and is now recognised as the best ski resort in Bulgaria. After a multi-million Euro investment, Bansko now has one of the most advanced ski centres in Europe, with a state-of-the-art lift network providing access to 65km of marked pistes as well as unlimited off-piste runs, with 80% of the slopes covered by snow cannon and the last 7km floodlit for night skiing. Bansko also boasts Bulgaria's first terrain park with half pipe.Besides the skiing, there are plenty of other activities, excursions and nightlife to keep you entertained during your stay. Outside the ski season, Bansko plays host to a number of festivals, including the Bansko Jazz festival, when hundreds of musicians gather from all over the world to perform. Bansko is also becoming an increasingly popular destination for mountain biking and white water rafting, as well as already being one of the top hiking destinations in Europe, with it's unspoilt natural beauty, breathtaking mountain scenery, lakes and alpine forests.By summer 2007, Bansko will open its first 18 hole golf course, designed by pro golfer Ian Woosnam and promises to be one of the finest courses in the country.Staying in Bansko will not cost the earth either. In fact, Bansko is one of the least expensive ski destinations in the world. A typical 3 course meal with wine can cost as little as £6, a pint bottle of beer around 50 pence and a good bottle of wine no more than £3.For all our guests, the whole experience is what matters most. We have tried to cover everything, from finding the best flights, arranging for our agent to meet you at the airport, right down to providing the ski passes, equipment hire and even tuition if you need it. A ski and storage room

In the basement you will have access to your very own private lockable ski room for secure storage of snowboarding and ski equipment. In the summer months, the ski room provides plenty of space to store your mountain bikes and/or hiking equipment.

Sauna

The building comes with a fully-equipped swedish-style sauna. What better way to unwind after a long day in the mountains.

Gym

In the basement, there is a fully equipped gymnasium, to which you will have free and unlimited access.

Party room

Also in the building is a large party room. The room is heated by a wood burning stove, and a great place to relax and unwind with your fellow skiers.

Directly opposite the apartment building is the Belle Vue complex. For a small cost, you can make use of its indoor heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi, turkish baths, sauna and gymnasium. The Belle Vue also offers massage and reflexology treatments for complete self indulgence
