Marina City is in the lovely historic town of Balchik and less than 40 minutes from Varna airport. Marina City is within the town and walking distances to all the facilities. Marina City is just a couple of minutes walk from Balchik’s sandy beach, and very close to one of the region’s top attractions – the Balchik Botanical Gardens. There is a great choice of restaurants and other nightlife along the sea-front and local area. The facilities in and around the complex are extensive and high class. The brand new trade center situated on the lower floors of the building has 50 different kinds shops offering a range of clothes, cosmetics, jewelery and other gifts. There are many cozy restaurants to choose from all serving traditional and international cuisine where the lovers of tasty food can try some selected dishes, cooked from the best chefs. The complex also benefits from a lobby bar, candy shop and a beauty saloon which has all been built to provide full comfort and convenience for all the guests at Marina City.



Balchik has a lovely seafront square and a beautiful esplanade. There are a few areas of sand, although most sunbathers prefer to position themselves on the various piers and jetties protruding into the bay. Any exploration of Balchik should begin with the Ethnographic Complex which consists of a reconstructed nineteenth-century school house and the Church of Sveti Nikola. The iconostasis is decorated with pictures by artists from Galichnik in western Macedonia, and theres a splendid gold-suffused portrait of the saint himself, patron of seafarers.



Balchik town also offers a great selection of cafes, restaurants and discotheques. There is also a small water park on the esplanade which is great for kids. The towns top attraction is the Botanical Gardens and Summer Palace of the Romanian Queen Marie. Sea fishing is also possible in the harbor. If you rent a car you will be able to access some of the quietest and most unspoilt beaches (that most holiday makers never see) in Bulgaria, which are just a few kilometers north of the White Lagoon resort and with the proposed golf course planned for 2008, you’ll agree there is something for everyone with this beautiful rental property.



There are also several interesting museums and churches in the town to visit in Balchik during your holiday in Bulgaria, and abundant mineral springs gush pure crystal water into the towns fountains. A few miles to the north of the harbor at Touzlata things really start to heat up... literally! A mineral spring bubbles into the salt lakes, filled with therapeutic mud, at over 30°c.
