The covered terrace is the centrepiece of the holiday home and is fully furnished with a large dining table that seats eight comfortably.

The property is located on a quiet hillside with a couple of other small private villas nearby. The nearest small village, Kravenik, is one mile away and offers a village shop and a bar. Five miles away, the town of Apriltsi offers a range of attractive possibilities including good restaurants, hotels with swimming pools that are open to the public and access to a range of outdoor pursuits including mountain biking and hiking in the amazing mountains that the lodge looks towards.

Amenities & services

There are two compact double bedrooms, one accessed via the kitchen and the other directly from the rear/side terrace. The bathroom is also accessed via its own individual door from the terrace.

The largest room in the lodge is the living room which has two comfortable, built-in single sofa beds. The room has a beautiful wood-burning stove, and the central heating for the whole lodge (radiators in the bathroom, kitchen and bedrooms) is fuelled from this burner. Above this room, accessed via a loft ladder, is a mezzanine ceiling (which may be curatined off) with a double mattress providing simple sleeping accommodation for two further people.

The spacious main terrace is at the heart of the property, and is furnished with a large table that seats eight easily. The property owners provide all bed linen, towels and kitchen equipment. Likewise fuel is provided for the central heating wood burner and for the barbecue.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud

It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:

  • It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
  • If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
  • Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
