While staying in West Flanders a visit to Ypres and Flanders Fields to experience the atmosphere surrounding the endless graves from the Great War is a must. Enjoy the vibrant and historic city of Bruges ('Venice of the North'), the architecture and wealth of museums in Ghent. A short drive will take you to the famed coastal resorts of Nieuwpoort for sailing and fresh fish, Oostduinkerke for shrimp fishing with horses, Blankenberge and Ostend for their sandy beaches and shopping.If you simply wish to enjoy the countryside at leisure, either walking or by bicycle, Kings House is found in a rural part of West Flanders with immediate access to many cycle routes and walks. Alternatively you might like to relax at one of the endless terraces with a coffee or Belgian beer and watch the rest of the world pass by.The owners, Rosanne and Trevor are a Flemish/English couple who between them speak four languages (Flemish, English, French and German), making communication with most Europeans a simple task.

Our complete property refurbishment has created new guest rooms which are warm and comfortable with thermostatically controlled heating, new high quality furniture and complete re decoration.

All bedrooms include quality box spring bed/s and bed linen, modern en suite bathroom with toiletries and plenty of quality towels. Wireless and wired high speed internet connection, TV and a writing/working desk are all included within the bedrooms.

Our double and twin rooms (which normally sleep two persons) are large enough to accommodate an additional single bed and therefore sleep three guests (extra beds are available). Single rooms will only sleep one person.

A buffet style breakfast of fresh local produce is served in our relaxed dining room. Here you will also find complimentary filter and espresso coffee and a selection of teas available.

It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
