Overview

On the first floor with direct access to the garden thanks to a terrace, I propose one or other of 2 bedrooms for 90 € for 1st night, 80 for 2nd & 3rd night, breakfasts included, wifi & laptop. We share a lot of maps and guides. The apartment is no smoking and without pets, only flowers, beers & wines, and paints. I recommend all kind of cultural activities as theatres & museums, but also I give advice about 200 restaurants in the quarter.
Our guests like to discuss with our local friends who come very often take a beer or a Maitrank, the local aperitif. We like to speak in French, English or Spanish, we try to learn Dutch but it's difficult for frenchies. We are just in the centre of Brussels between Cathedral & Grand-Place, near the Gallery and the Central Station. We have taxis, bicycle renting and ATM in the street, and a great public parking at the corner.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud

It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:

  • It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
  • If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
  • Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
