Located on the third floor of a typical 19th century Viennese apartment building (with elevator access), this is a south-facing apartment overlooking the beautiful green vistas of Augarten Park (52ha).
This 65m² (700 ft²) fully-furnished apartment was renovated in the summer of 2009.
The furniture is an eclectic mixture of modern and Viennese antiques (Biedermeier and Jugendstil). Choice art prints give an elegant finish to this luminous accommodation.

Location & area

The Augarten Park is located between the 2d (Leopoldstadt)and the 20th (Brigittenau)Districts. It has the oldest Baroque gardens of the city. Access is limited to daytime and the gates close in the evening. The Augarten hosts several facilities such as the Wiener Sängerknaben (Vienna Boys Choir), the famous Augarten Porcelain Factory, the Filmarchiv Austria, 1 restaurant, a bar, a children's pool and an open-air cinema (in the summer). Mozart conducted and played "morning-concerts" in 1772. The Danube Canal (Donaukanal) is a couple of minutes walking distance from the apartment. It borders Vienna's city centre (1st District). It was a former arm of the Danube River and is now a very attractive promenade. The Donaukanal is actually much more part of the city of Vienna than the main river. In the summer months it is a pleasent recreational area (summer stages, flea markets, restaurants). "
