Overview

Hermagor~Presseggersee is a Naturarena and has some of the most beautiful countryside to explore, with high mountains, gorges, valleys and spectacular views. Whether you come for more relaxing walks or hiking or you enjoy a spot of cycling, there is something for everyone. The Pension Waldkrieber offers some fantastic Nordic walking at your leisure, right on the door step, due to the being positioned next to the forest and mountains.
Nearby to the Presseggersee there is the exciting fun park, Erlebnis, ideal for children, with lots of different rides and activities, which allows mum and dad some peace and quiet to relax in the sun.
Winter

At well known Nassfeld you are guaranteed plenty of snow, with modern cable cars, state of the art equipment and challenging slopes.

For snowboarders there is 1 Twinpipe, 1 SB park and 1 SB Fun park to decide from. You will find at Nassfeld 5 Cabin Lifts, Armchiair Lifts, 18 Towed Lifts.

There is a FREE modern shuttle bus that runs at regular intervals, direct to the ski region. The bus stop is located only a short distance away from the Pension Waldkrieber.

After having a long, hard workout on the Piste, or other activity during the day, you can come back and relax in the Sauna/Solarium to invigorate yourself. If you still want more of a workout you can work up a sweat in our gym.

Airports

Klagenfurt airport is 45 mins (Ryanair.com fly from Stansted).

Slovenian airport in Ljubljana is about 80 kilometres or 1hr 30 mins and our local train station is approx 3 mins away.

Salzburg airport is 2 hrs (Thomsonfly.com fly from Coventry / Manchester / Gatwick / Bournemouth / Doncaster).

Nearly all airlines fly to Salzburg during the winter period.

By car:

From Klagenfurt airport, on the highway, in the direction on Villach moving. Then the highway longer remaining, on Udine, Italy shutting. Take the exit for Hermagor (B111). After about 20 minutes you will come in the Saint Paul, and then Saint Stefan depend after about 5 minutes on being a matter continuing you in Presseggen in which, and turn right to the Schluga camping place, then will take the lane immediately on you desolately. The Waldkrieber is about 1 km on the right.



If the travelling from the west B111 follows. The Waldkrieber is 5 km of Hermagor.
