Overview

Everyone wants to come to Panama's Pearl Islands - and Contadora is the pearl of The Pearls! Gorgeous tropical islands, beautiful white sand beaches, crystal clear waters and plenty of sun!

The Contadora Island Inn is a small bed and breakfast with a comfortable feeling of home. We have nine rooms - each with its own private bathroom, A/C, ceiling fans, and private entrance. By choice, we do not have TV or phones in the rooms. Our inn is a place to escape these distractions!

You will enjoy a home-cooked breakfast each morning in the dining room, or if you prefer, on the deck. Our housekeeper cleans the rooms daily.

Walking is the ideal way to discover the many beaches. Our guests also enjoy walking in the cool night breezes. Contadora is ideal for walking - day or night.

For those who prefer a more sedate adventure, we also have golf carts for rent.
Our inn consists of two separate houses. Each one is available as a whole house rental for families and large groups. The "Inn House" sleeps 12. The "Hibiscus House" sleeps 9.

Location & area

The Pearl Islands are located in the Bay of Panama, approximately 40 miles south of the Pacific entrance to the Panama Canal. Contadora is one of the northernmost islands, making it a mere 15 minute flight from Panama City's Albrook airport.



Panama City has many sites that should not be missed, including the Canal, Casco Viejo (the old city), the Amador Causeway, and many fine restaurants and casinos. After enjoying these metropolitan pleasures, come to Contadora for relaxation in water and sun.



The island boasts three food stores, a clinic, a police station, a dive shop, several Internet access points, seven restaurants, five major beaches and numerous smaller ones. Our Inn is located within easy walking distance of all of these - the greatest distance being 1.4 miles.



Many other deserted island beaches can be visited by boat from Contadora. Several local boat captains offer tours specializing in sight-seeing, snorkeling, diving, secluded sun-bathing, or fishing. The boats are available in a variety of sizes and price ranges. Something for every budget!
