Our Costa Rica Jungle B&B offers you a unique experience in an awesome country.
A B&B where all the rooms are individual tree houses and where the trees are part of your room up high in the Costa Rican rain forest.
Tree Houses is a bed and breakfast conveniently located off the main road that runs through the La Fortuna and up around the Arenal Volcano. We are a short 25 minute drive to the high tourist area. People seek us out with that in mind, to be away from it all but close enough to enjoy all the fun adventure the La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano area has to offer. We have just 3 tree houses (each very private) on 8 acres and we are surrounded by a 70 acre wildlife refuge with a waterfall, pools to swim and a beautiful river. Our property is a bird watchers paradise and wildlife lovers dream. Sloths, monkeys, toucans, armadillos, hummingbirds, parrots and motmots name just a few of the animals our guest see most everyday. It's not uncommon to see blue morph and many other species of butterflies. The only people with access to our property and wildlife refuge are customers of Tree Houses B&B.

A full and delicious breakfast is served on the office patio surrounded by our hummingbird gallery and bird feeding area. It is a very lively place where guest enjoy meeting each other or just sitting quietly with a good cup of Costa Rican coffee.
All accommodations are private and set in the midst of the lush Costa Rican jungle. Each tree house features a full size bed on the lower level and either 2 twins or a full bed in the upper loft. We can add a small mattress for an extra child between the 2 twin beds in the loft area. A/C, warm water showers, refrigerators and safes are in each tree house. A nice private deck and individual parking spaces are features people really enjoy and appreciate. We pride ourselves in offering a clean, comfortable and secure hotel. Housekeeping and laundry services are available on a daily basis.
Santa Clara is a small Costa Rican community with wonderful people and a variety of restaurants close to the hotel. Our guest are treated very well, always greeted with a friendly smile and get to experience true tico hospitality and great food.
Costa Rica is a big vacation for most people and it is important to us that each has the best and stress free time possible. We enjoy giving specialized attention in trying to individually accommodate our guests by discussing all the many options that the local communities and surrounding areas have to offer. Whether it is a guided tour or venturing out on one's own, we can help you plan your tours, activities and give you directions to some great places...on and off the beaten path. We also help with transportation and will assist in providing you with a rental car, taxi or private van.
There are few hotels like this in the world and none other in Costa Rica. There is something so very exciting about spending the night high in the forest canopy, wildlife all around you, safe and cozy in a tree house.
