Overview
Angel Valley cottage sits atop a hill on 25 acres of newly landscaped land and behind is Angel Valley with a stream and mostly primary jungle. It has 360 degree views with Lake Arenal in front and the jungle valley and mountain behind. You will see monkeys, parrots, toucans, sloths, and all the wonderful wildlife Costa Rica is known for, and there is a scarlet macaw who comes to visit for days at a time.
Angel Valley is small but spacious and beautifully decorated. The furniture and kitchen appliances are top of the line, with hand made tropical wood cabinets and cathedral ceiling. It has one bedroom with a queen and bunk beds in at the end of the hallway. The main bath is large with a big shower, and beautiful tile work. The second bath is in a separate room which also has the washer/dryer. The great-room has very comfortable furniture, and is quite spacious. There is a large back porch with views of Angel valley and not a house in sight. The front porch faces the lake with a very nice view as well. It is only a few minutes from the town of Arenal but feels and is very secluded.The breezes atop this hill are almost always blowing keeping the temperate climate here cool. It always drops to the 60's at night.
We have a website with a number of properties, all maintained to the highest quality standards available, and all are in and around the small, quiet town of Arenal. This is important when comparing rentals as some are near Tilaran or Tronadora, which makes it an extra 45 minutes driving to the Arenal Volcano area. Angel Valley is located about 20 miles from Tobacon Springs, The Hanging Bridges, The Canopy Tram, and of course the ever active Arenal Volcano. You can even take a boat and van over to Monteverde. The Pacific beaches are about 2 hours away, and the Liberia airport is less than that.There are ATV's to rent and explore the wild highlands, always wonderful birding, boating and fishing, kayaking available, and of horseback adventures. Of course you have to see the Arenal Volcano, and the various hot springs around the base.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
