Memorable, comfortable, affordable...Hickatee Cottages provides the best of both worlds: charming Caribbean-style cottages, in a jungle setting, yet only one mile from Punta Gorda Town in Toledo, Southern Belize, with easy access to the Cayes and inland attractions.Wake up to the sounds of the jungle, explore our nature trails, cool-off in our new jungle 'plunge pool', or take a self-guided bike tour on one of the Cottages' free bikes. Explore Boom Creek Village and take a trip on the Moho River in a traditional dug-out canoe, or visit further afield on one of our range of many day-trips.Plentiful home-cooked meals are available on-site at Charlie's Bar, prepared with ingredients grown on our farm and fresh, seasonal produce from PG market.Family-run, we aim to offer friendly, personal service, a comfortable relaxed atmosphere, and excellent value for money. We offer a free transfer from the airstrip or boat dock, free bikes to explore the local area, free morning tea and coffee delivered to your room, and a free visit to Fallen Stones Butterfly Farm for guests staying on a Wednesday or Saturday (first-come first-served basis).Please note that we are an eco-friendly guest house, and our power is supplied largely from solar panels, with only limited power available overnight.

Our three cottages are furnished with locally made hardwood furniture, ceiling fans, and have both a double and single bed, with en-suite bathroom facilities.



Relax in the adjoining sitting area, or on your private verandah where you can enjoy the tropical gardens and view the wildlife, and use the Cottages' "night-sight" for nocturnal viewing.



We have over a mile of nature trails on site, a small 'plunge pool' to cool off, and free bikes to explore the local area.



We are on hand to arrange inland and marine tours of the beautiful Toledo District, and guests staying on a Wednesday or Saturday can enjoy a free visit to Fallen Stones Butterfly Farm, with its great views over the Columbia Forest Reserve.
