Point Village Resort - Negril Jamaica
The resort caters to singles, couples and families. It is called the Point Village because of its village-like atmosphere and the fact that it is located on picturesque rugged point where Negril's famous seven mile beach ends and spectacular Bloody Bay Beach begins.

The property is beautiful in its diversity. It features two white sand beaches and spectacular cliffs complete with innumerable grottos - perfect for snorkeling. The man made amenities are nearly as spectacular. Swim in the fresh water pool, relax in the Jacuzzi or spend the day in the unique and refreshing Rock Pools (Pools carved from the iron shore that the sea fills with salt water). There are a wide variety of water sports available on the property and lots of activities for Children. A fee may be charged for some activities. Land sports include beach volleyball and a tennis court.


LocationPoint Village is located on the Caribbean in the town of Negril, on the furthest west tip of Jamaica only 60 minutes from the Donald Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay. There is also a local airport than 5 minutes from the Point Village.

Suite
Point Village consists of 175 privately owned condominiums in a resort like atmosphere. This studio suite has one double bed, full bathroom with a shower, air conditioning, TV and kitchenette and has spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea or the resorts' tropical gardens.


Guest Services and Airport TransfersA gift shop, a convenience store and a full service beauty salon are located on premises. A guest services desk provides bureau de change / cashier services and a Tour and Activities Desk for Island excursions. Tour destinations and prices are available at the desk. Taxis can be found right out the front gate and are safe and inexpensive. The shuttle from the airport to Negril is $20 per person and can be purchased right at the airport in Montego bay as soon as you exit customs. The shuttle back to the airport is the same price and can be arranged at the tour desk at the hotel. Private taxis can also be arranged but are a little more expensive. Any of the local can drivers would be happy to quote a price for you or if you like we can provide you with a list of trusted drivers and tour guides.


Restaurants and Dining
Point Village is an all inclusive resort and does not accept cash or credit cards at the bars or restaurants. Meal plans and drink vouchers may be purchased at the hotel front desk.

However'.we suggest trying the many local restaurants or kiosks along the beach road where you may find the prices a lot more reasonable and a wider selection. Some of the best food in Jamaica is cooked on roadside barbeques.

Your room is equipped with a fridge and stove and the basic cooking necessities and if you like to cook for yourself there are several supermarkets in Negril to choose from. Prices are largely similar to prices at home with exception to liquor which is cheap cheap cheap. The rum liquors are simply the best.


Internet Cafe'

An internet caf' is located at the main lobby of the resort so you can stay in touch with friends and family. There are also several internet cafes right on the beach.
Diving and Water Sports


There is a full service P.A.D.I. dive shop right on the grounds that offers everything from first time Discover Scuba diving to full certifications and more. Dive boat goes daily. The dive shop also offers snorkeling trips, kayaks, and glass bottom boat rides. A small fee applies.
