Overview

We have two ensuite rooms in the main building. The pool house has two more bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and a shared dining area/living room. All bedrooms sleep two persons.

Our swimming pool is 65ft in length and ranges from knee deep to 9ft. It is the largest pool in Montego Bay!

Whilst staying at Julia's you have access to our beautiful surroundings and free transport to and from town.

Julia's was built by the DeLisser family in the 1950s on grounds that were the Duke of Sutherland's private home estate from 1840. The villa has changed hands several times since the 50s, with William Hill the Bookmaker and, the Governor General of Jamaica making it their home. The Italian singer Raimondo Meglio and his wife Julia bought the property, renamed it Julia's and ran it as an Italian Restaurant. Julia's has now ended up in the hands of the present owners, brothers Biffo and Clive Brown from England. Biff went to the restaurant for dinner in 2004 and fell in love with the estate.

Our long, low-slung villa is set in 7acres of beautiful tropical gardens with and boasts incredible panoramic views of the bay, the rolling hills and the coastline. We even have the biggest swimming pool in Mo-Bay! The town centre is only a 15 minute drive and the airport is just 30 minutes away.

Location & area

The views over Montego Bay from Julia's are widely acknowledged to be the best views in the area, looking out onto Mo-Bay and the Freeport. The villa is 600ft above sea level giving a fantastic vantage point to look out across the bay, to the horizon and enjoy the sunsets. The fantastic views are complemented by the relaxed atmosphere of the villa.
