Las Terrenas beach town is merely three hours drive while Playa Grande beach, another beautiful mile long beach, is less than an hour drive. Cabarete Beach, besides being home to world Kite Surfing competitions as well as surfing schools, offers you candle light dining and pubs right on the beach to enjoy those starry nights or beautiful days watching colorful kites flying across the blue waters and beautifully tanned surfers tied to those kites.
