Overview

The Boat House in Tara Samui carefully and lovengly restored it makes a super and slightly funky holiday home. Large glass picture windows make the most of the views over the Gulf of Siam. The Boat House has a large living area, combining a lounge, dining area leading onto a small sized sun deck for a less formal seating area. Once outside you will discover one of the most breathtaking beachfront locations in Koh Samui and an ideal place to take full advantage of the spectacular sunsets.



Bedroom one. A beautiful king-size bed with natural furnishings. Double wardrobe and dressing table together with matching bedside cabinets and plenty of bedside lighting complete this comfortable sized room. En-suite including a bath tub.

Location & area

Rising from the crystal waters of the Gulf of Siam, Koh Samui is a tropical paradise just off Thailand's South Eastern coast. The island's mountainous interior is coated in a tropical jungle with rugged trails that offer spectacular views. The whole island is surrounded by beautiful white sandy beaches and azure water.



Samui is Thailand's third largest island at 247 square kilometres, and its part of an archipelago of many other islands, including Koh Phangan, Koh Tao and the Ang Thong National Marine Park. Samui is renowned for its tropical beaches, coconut palms, a wonderful variety of spa facilities, exotic nightlife and friendly people. The island also offers an amazing choice of restaurants, offering local and international cuisine that would be hard to match anywhere in the world. Samui seems to cast its magic spell on everyone who encounters it.



The island's 50 km ring road offers tantalizing glimpses of Samui's gorgeous beaches; it takes you through sleepy fishing villages and seas of coconut palms. It also passes Samui's most impressive waterfalls and provides tempting turn-offs into the highlands. Yet most visitors are content to laze the days away on the beaches, soaking up the sun and cooling off in the turquoise waters.



Samui may have a relaxed, laid back atmosphere, but the jungles and beaches offer every activity imaginable. The island has an exhilarating array of water sports such as snorkelling, scuba diving, sea canoeing, kite boarding and fishing. There's also mountain biking, horse-riding, elephant trekking through the jungle, tennis and even bungee jumping available for those seeking energetic entertainment. And an excellent golf course is available for a more gentle form of exercise.
