Overview

Banyan Beach Villa, Suites and Terrace is a 960 square metre beachfront home on the sandy walking beach, Bang Por.
The living pavilion contains low sofas and coffee tables which are dressed with Jim Thompson silks and cushions. There's a very natural feel to the materials used in the furniture, and beautiful lamps and a large reclining Buddha create a calming and relaxing ambience which is enhanced and inspired by the incredible view over the beach and the ocean. This room has been created with the view as the focal point, the glass walls open to invite the tropical surroundings directly into the room.
The kitchen with a mixture of high-gloss black and white units fully-fitted with Siemens appliances (double ovens, built in coffee maker, dishwasher, double sinks, hob and microwave) and incorporating two island features topped with black granite.
To the left is a 10-seat glass-topped dining table presided over by a magnificent chrome and clear-glass bubble effect chandelier. Windows open completely at the front and rear of this room.
The rear doors open into the reception courtyard. On the left is a grand wooden-gated entrance and sat in front of that the teak day-bed, ideal for thai massage or an afternoon nap. There's a guest bathroom to the right and steps leading into the pool entrance. A covered area links the courtyard to the dining room and also to the first of the sleeping pavilions.On the right is the master suite with a lovely four-poster bed, a separate dressing area and a breathtaking en-suite bathroom. There's a black-granite shower area, a large oval bathtub(with the ocean view) and a twin sink vanity unit which are open to the inner tropical garden. The pool can also be accessed from the bathroom.
This first section of the villa is stylish, practical and designed very much with entertaining in mind.
A tropical garden links the pavilions, and the two ground floor rooms, called the Banyan Garden Suites, have separate, covered outdoor lounge areas. Inside, each room is furnished to the same standard as the rest of the house but with a slightly more contemporary feel, and each has an en-suite bathroom with bathtub and shower, built in wardrobes and a kitchenette area making each room completely self-contained.
Stairs between the garden rooms lead up to the Banyan Beach Terrace which is another self-contained room with kitchenette, en-suite and a large sun terrace furnished as a further dining or lounge area.
