Situated about three minutes drive from attractive Whitianga township, Driftwood Lodge is an ideal base to explore the many attractions of the Coromandel Peninsula. Relax in the upstairs lounge with its picture window overlooking beautiful Mercury Bay. Rise early and trek up Whitianga rock with its ancient fortifications or sleep late and breakfast on a sunny deck. Kayaking, tramping, fishing, sailing, tennis, golfing, sightseeing and shopping are all close at hand.
Driftwood Lodge provides three super-king/twin guestrooms each with an ensuite bathroom and each opening on to its own spacious deck. There is a private guest lounge with panoramic sea views, where breakfast can be served. Alternatively breakfast can be enjoyed in your room or alfresco on a deck. Evening meals are available by arrangement but a selection of Restaurants and cafés are just one kilometre away in Whitianga township.

From Auckland, take State Highway 1 on the Southern Motorway and turn left on to
State Highway 2 at Bombay. Follow the signs to the Coromandel Peninsula until you reach State Highway 25 at Kopu. From Kopu follow the signs to Whitianga.
At Whitianga, follow Buffalo Beach Road along the beach to number 167 on the left.
